Also seems like the fuel pressure regulator was bad ( in the fuel pump assembly on a lot of vehicles), by how the fuel pressure dropped so fast when shut off.

Hi my nissan sentra only swinging but not starting GA16 carb

Was changing blower motor on a 650 BMW. Was dumb and didn’t disconnect battery. The electrical housing unit above the blower touched something and sparked. Everything else works but car doesn’t want to start. Really wants to turn over but it doesn’t. I have 2 relays in that housing that sparked. One is a quantity control relay which has something to do with fuel. The other one I’m not sure but think it’s an ignition relay. I’m going to test them but would you think there’s a decent chance I just screwed up the relay(s) within that housing where the spark occurred or do you think there’s just as good a chance or better chance that the problem goes beyond that. As I said, though, everything else works just fine.

Alternators and starters do indeed go bad on these cars, and I have in fact had to replace both of those items on my '05 CR-V. That being said, I wouldn't doubt your suspicions on that at all if you think they may be going bad. It's super common. And no you do not need to remove the intake manifold to get to either of these components.

I have the same car myself, only mine is a stick shift. I have not had this problem with my car before but this is always good to know about for sure. Muchas gracias

Any way for a non-mechanic to get power distribution diagrams? My car needs to be jumped every day, and even after a couple hours, it needs to be jumped again. Autozone tested battery and alternator, both were good. I definitely know the alternator is good as it does charge while driving and if I turn the car off, come back 30 minutes later it seems to start. After about an hour, that changes and it won't start. Not sure how I can test the battery myself to make sure it's not just kermitting sewer slide.

My 2011 mini cooper was vacuumed and recharged and the compressor just refuses to turn on. I checked for power and the wiring has no power going through. I then checked fuses and relays which were fine. Will check the auc sensor and climate control modules, as well as the ecu (kinda far fetch, but I'm desperate. Been out of AC for 2 summers now in desert AZ). Any recommendations would greatly be appreciated (no I'm junking my car...yet)

Thanks to you I (not technically inclined at all) did exactly this today in about 15 minutes and got my Cayenne back running. Quick trip to Home Depot, the wireless solder definitely was more convienent and a quick RUclips of how to solder and boom. Thanks again 🙏🏼

I have a 2007 Tundra. Solenoid C and D. error codes. Does anyone know which wires or connector pins these are? I've seen PDF files 700 pages long, and just can't find a simple picture that identifies each wire and pin. I'd also like to buy the lead shown in the video with the female multimeter connector that goes onto one pin. I dont' want the large kit for $100 right now. But maybe a smaller kit that includes that connector.
